Georgia State’s 50th Annual Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner Set for Oct. 11
The Georgia State University Alumni Association continues its 50-year tradition of recognizing its outstanding alumni during a recognition ceremony and dinner on Friday, Oct. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Distinguished Alumni Awards acknowledge those individuals who are recognized leaders in their respective fields, significant contributors to the improvement of their communities and have shown a committed record of service to Georgia State.
The receipients of the 50th annual awards are:

• Ms. Alicia Philipp, M.B.A, ’82
President of The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
• Mr. Ahmet Bozer, M.S., ’83
Executive Vice President and President of Coca-Cola International
• Mr. Ronald J. Freeman Sr., J.D., ’85
Founding Partner, Johnson & Freeman LLC
The festivities will take place in the Georgia State Student Center Ballroom and include a reception at 6:30 p.m.followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Individual tickets are available for $50 and tables seating 10 are available for $400.
