“Georgia State has provided me with the opportunities to accomplish anything and everything that I chose. The Presidential Scholarship has exposed me to opportunities that never would have been available otherwise and has opened many doors for me. I have been able to pursue study abroad programs, research and classes of interest to me because of the opportunities presented to me by this university, and that has made my time here incredibly rewarding, busy and exciting.”

ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Student success is our highest priority at Georgia State University, and that includes advising and fostering the progress of students with a wide variety of backgrounds and goals. The mission of the Honors College is to provide talented, motivated undergraduate scholars with experiences that prepare them to become creative, high-achieving global citizens. Through the Honors College, students in any of Georgia State’s more than 200 fields of study can take advantage of special opportunities in mentoring, research, cultural activities and preparation for graduate and postgraduate scholarship.
By donating to the Honors College, you help build and nurture these opportunities and give our students the tools to become leaders in many different areas of society. Your support helps fund internships, fellowships, lecture series and study-abroad programs that take their education further than they ever thought possible.
Merit-based and performance-based scholarships support students throughout their Georgia State experience.
Undergraduate students have the opportunity to engage in research and creative works. Students across campus assist in labs, compose music, serve as editors and build business plans.
Innovative programs such as Global Honors Experience and LEAD with Honors certificate program provide every Honors College student (regardless of financial circumstances) the opportunity to travel internationally and cultivate leadership skills and abilities.
Internship support will permit Honors College students to take advantage of our two major internship programs – the London Experience and the Capital Experience.
