Have you encountered any significant challenges that have affected your ability to attend college?
The death of my father crippled the family financially. I started out as an international student, hence the reasons for the amount of time it is taking me to earn my degree. There have been lots of obstacles, but we made it!
What has receiving the George M. Sparks Scholarship meant to you?
It has meant having the financial freedom to focus on my studies and graduate with flying colors.
