- I am the oldest child.
- I am Nigerian.
- I love outdoor, hands-on activities.
Have you encountered any significant challenges that have affected your ability to attend college?
The passing of my farther has affected me financially because I only have the support of my mother. This tragedy has led me to be the best role model for my younger siblings, since they’ll be following in my footsteps. The loss of my father has motivated me to graduate high school/college, because that was his dream for all of his children.
What has receiving the John E. Aderhold Fund for Excellence Scholarship meant to you?
This scholarship has given me the assurance of finishing college. Without the scholarship support Georgia State provides, I wouldn’t be able to attend this school. I want my siblings to know that it requires hard work and dedication to receive a scholarship in a highly competitive university like this one.
What words of gratitude would you like to express to donors who make scholarships possible at Georgia State?
I’m truly blessed to have donors in my life who make such a positive difference for Georgia State students. God has blessed them so that they may bless students.
