Why Georgia State?
I chose Georgia State in part for its location. It is in the perfect place for me as a film major: right in the heart of downtown, where all the action is. In fact, there’s almost always something filming right on campus. I also chose Georgia State for the opportunities it presents: Its relationship with the Georgia Film Academy and Georgia Public Broadcasting, as well as the many internship opportunities. It was obvious this University cares a lot about student success within and beyond the classroom.
Please share a few interesting facts about yourself:
- I was born in Chicago and raised in Georgia but have neither a midwestern nor southern accent.
- My favorite place to take photos is the zoo: I could spend all day there.
- My pet peeve is carelessness: Towards people, possessions, your environment, and any other kind.
