The Institute for Biomedical Sciences is on a mission to advance human health. The institute is also transforming education. We’ve adopted an innovative approach that combines instruction in several key areas: biomedical science, business, entrepreneurship and law. Our interdisciplinary academic programs are tailored to the biomedical industry’s needs, and students in our new bachelor’s degree program in Biomedical Science and Enterprise, as well as our master’s and Ph.D. programs, are taught the technical, legal and commercial aspects of scientific discovery.

Graduates are prepared to become leaders in the biomedical field and compete for high-demand jobs, including positions in biotechnology, pharmaceutics, consulting, education, government and other fields. They’re also equipped to pursue advanced degrees in science, business and law.
