Biography
Felicia Moss Mayfield, Ed. D. is a 46-year P-20 educator having spent 36 years as a teacher, principal, associate superintendent and chief of staff. Felicia joined Higher education at Clark Atlanta University 11 years ago serving as a tenure track associate professor. Felicia's love of Georgia State University stems from the three degrees and two certification programs that prepared her for a fruitful career.
She is the former Chairman of the Alumni Board of Directors, the incoming Chairman of the Women's Philanthropy Network and a life member of the GSU Alumni Association. She serves on the Development Committee and is a PAC member as well as a supporter of the Rialto Center for the Arts. Career details are on LinkedIn. Felicia is married to Rodney Mayfield, and they have three adult children and eight grandchildren. As a hobby, Felicia is a University of Georgia Extension Service Master Gardener, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and a card-carrying member of over 30 organizations. Felicia is a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She and her husband are members of New Piney Grove Baptist Church serving as Deacon and Deaconess.
