Biography
Mr. Boykin serves as chair of the Georgia State University Foundation board and as a member on the Robinson College of Business Board of Advisors. He is also a co-founder and member of the Oversight Committee for the Addiction Alliance of Georgia, a partnership of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and Emory Healthcare to address addiction treatment, education and research for Atlanta.
Mr. Boykin retired in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer of Mohawk Industries, Inc., an international Fortune 500 building products company with over $11 billion of annual revenue, after 28 years.
Prior to Mohawk, Mr. Boykin was employed as a senior manager for KPMG Peat Marwick in both New York, NY and Atlanta, GA. He also held positions at Touche Ross & Co. and Murata Erie, an electronic component manufacturer.
Mr. Boykin is a certified public accountant and graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA (cum laude) in 1978. Mr. Boykin is married with two adult children and three grandchildren.
