Susan Eckert

After earning her B.A. in Psychology, M.Ed. in Counseling and Psychological Services, and Ph.D. in Educational Administrative Supervision at Georgia State University, Dr. Susan Eckert pursued a career in academic and research administration at Emory University. Following her retirement as Senior Associate Dean of Administration in the Woodruff School of Nursing for Emory, she co-authored several books and articles about faculty research career development. In continuation of her various development roles in academia, Dr. Eckert maintained a position as Chair of the Board of Georgia Piedmont Technical College. Currently, Dr. Eckert serves on both the Advisory Committee of the College of Education & Human Development and the Board of Visitors of College of Arts & Sciences for Georgia State University.
