Every school or college at Georgia State has its own annual giving fund. You can also give to scholarships, Athletics, the Alumni Association, the Honors College or any one of our hundreds of funds.
Monthly Giving
Monthly gifts of every size provide an essential source of income for the university. Because we can rely on these gifts month after month, they offer a unique flexibility that tuition, endowments and public funding can’t.
These sustaining gifts have an immediate and lasting effect on students in the classroom, in the lab, on the playing field or across the ocean studying abroad. Monthly gifts are critical to Georgia State’s ability to provide students with the special experiences, programs and services that change lives and better the world.

Faculty and Staff Giving
All Georgia State faculty, staff and retirees are invited annually to make an impact beyond their professional roles.
Support the area that matters most to you, such as a success program, employee scholarships or even your school or department. Find the fund you want to support at gsu.edu/findmyfund.

Student Giving
As a student, you may not think you’re in a position to make a difference through charitable giving.
But we mean it when we say that every gift, no matter the size, has a real influence on changing the course of someone’s life through education.

Crowdfunding
IMPACT Georgia State is the university’s official crowdfunding platform that provides registered student organizations, faculty and staff with a tool to raise awareness and support for projects that require immediate funding.
The IMPACT platform provides a new avenue for members of the Georgia State community to support individual projects that are most meaningful to them and helps campus-led initiatives achieve philanthropic goals.
Visit our crowdfunding site here to find a project that matches your passions.
The IMPACT Georgia State platform is administered by the Annual Programs Office of Development & Alumni Affairs. Funds raised are processed by the Georgia State University Foundation and are subject to its policies and regulations. Questions about projects or the application process should be directed to Michael Rohling, assistant director of annual programs, at mrohling@gsu.edu.
Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Find out if your company has a matching gift policy.
Georgia State Day
Georgia State Day is a comprehensive giving day usually held each spring. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Georgia State Day 2020 was postponed until September 29, 2020. On #TheStateDay, we rally alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends worldwide to support student success for a 1 day, 9 hours and 13 minutes of giving.
On April 9, 2019, Panthers around the world helped raise over $500,000 for current and future students. Thank you, donors and ambassadors, for making Georgia State Day a success.
