UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Georgia State was founded on the belief that education empowers people to elevate their lives. Since then, we have welcomed thousands of students who overcame major obstacles to achieve college degrees. Many have worked an extra job — or two or three — to pay for their schooling. Two out of every five students attending Georgia State are the first people in their families to attend college.
The university was also founded on the belief that hard work and sincere effort should be rewarded, and our numerous scholarship programs help make that happen. Supporting those scholarships doesn’t just make the path to a college diploma a little easier for hard-working students — it alters the course of those students’ lives for the better, showing them the way to opportunities that will allow them to change the world.
