Diamond Parker

I spent three years working at Mississippi State University's bulldog calling center where I was able to gain experience in the solicitation of annual gifts. I'm excited to assist Georgia State University's development team through engagement with both internal and external communities in an effort of gaining long-lasting relationships and perpetual support. Philanthropy used to spark words such as "volunteer" and "lending a helping hand" whether that was through the help of funds or not; my interpretation always comprised of finding ways to help those in need. As I've grown older my definition has stayed the same, but only evolved into a more matured thinking - that is being able to see the larger picture and make a true difference for the greater good.
